The first large “face-to-face” show since the start of the pandemic opened its doors there.
The event should take the pulse of an industry that has suffered an unprecedented crisis, caused by the surge of the virus on the planet.
And who, having started to recover, is under the pressure of the climate emergency.

A tangible sign of its commitment to decarbonize aviation, Airbus is exhibiting a model of a future ZEROe (“e” for emission) aircraft, expected by 2035, which will fly on hydrogen.
For its part, Boeing presents its ecoDemonstrator, a 737 Max transformed into a flying laboratory which is used to test green technologies.
The decarbonisation of aviation is also at the heart of the new market study published by Airbus.
For now, the mere fact that the Dubai Air Show has been maintained is a symbol of the improvement in the health of the sector.
