Tehran-Sana
Iranian oil exports have witnessed a noticeable increase recently, despite the unjust embargo imposed by the United States on it.
And the website of the Iranian Ministry of Oil quoted a member of the Energy Committee of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Moussa Mousavi, as saying, "Although the country's oil industry is facing an embargo, we are witnessing an increase in oil sales and exports, especially in the past few months," pointing to the possibility of raising the level of exports further, which helps to Solve some of the country's economic problems.
Mousavi called for the need to find ways to finance and implement development projects in the country, including benefiting from the capabilities of the private sector and foreign investors, pointing out that the use of oil barter increases the private sector's desire to invest in infrastructure projects, railways and roads in the country.
Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oji had confirmed last month that the issue of selling oil through the barter mechanism had been included on the agenda in light of the world's need for energy and by benefiting from the capabilities and energies of the country's diplomatic apparatus. Investing in upstream and downstream activities in the oil sector can in return obtain oil and gas condensate through barter.
