“the vast majority of commercial aircraft in operation will be of the latest generation, compared to around 13% today, considerably improving the CO2 efficiency of fleets in the world ”
.
According to the study, companies will buy 15,250 new aircraft to replace their old aircraft by 2040, out of a total of 39,000 aircraft ordered.
