Intelsat is challenging its European competitors on their land. The American telecom satellite operator is very proud to have been selected by Air France to install its high-speed internet system on board the 60 Airbus A220s, ordered by the French company.
"Air France KLM becomes, with 187 connected devices, including more than 140 at Air France, our most important customer in Europe",
welcomes Dave Bijur, "senior vice-president" Commercial aviation of Intelsat.
"This is a major success for us because Air France could have opted for terrestrial connectivity services (air-to-ground) since the A220 operates short and medium-haul flights",
adds the head of Intelsat.
