Already owner of the Raffles, Sofitel, Fairmont and Orient Express brands, Accor is still on the offensive in the luxury hotel industry.
The French group is creating a new brand to do this, Emblems Collection.
The Guiyang Art Center Hotel, an iconic monument in Guiyang (China), will be its first flagship.
Located on the banks of the Nanming River in the heart of the summer resort capital of China, it will open by early 2023 after major works.
Built to be a luxury private residence, it will be transformed into a hotel by its owner, HLC Group, which relies on Accor's expertise to attract travelers.
