In letters recently addressed to ministers Bruno Le Maire and Jacqueline Gourault, as well as to the prefect of Paris Marc Guillaume, the mayor LR of the 7th arrondissement of Paris questioned the "
sincerity
" of the budget of the City of Paris, while 'Anne Hidalgo, PS candidate for the presidential election, has just presented a budget orientation report for 2022.

The elected right-wing asks them in particular to carry out a control "
particularly attentive
" to the financial orientations of the City of Peers or even to consider its "
putting under budgetary supervision
".
In a recent interview with
Parisien-Today in France
, Rachida Dati even said that
“if the rules were respected, Paris would be declared bankrupt
”.
With a continuously rising debt amounting to nearly 7 billion euros, the public finances of Paris are indeed in very bad shape.
Can we then really consider a "trusteeship" of the capital?
