Restaurateurs and shopkeepers fear that their end of the year will be spoiled again by the Covid.
In restaurants, which suffered from a staff shortage before the fifth wave, the epidemic resumption is already affecting the activity of establishments.
“All
over the country, we are starting to see businesses close for a week, because of contact cases in the teams,
” notes Hubert Jan, president of the Umih-catering trade union.

The restorers are therefore tightening the sanitary screw, where a little slackening had been observed in recent weeks.

We are in the process of giving our members a reminder, via our intranet site,"
explains Hervé Dijols, president of the National Syndicate of Thematic and Commercial Catering (SNRTC), which brings together 2,000 establishments (Groupe Bertrand, Groupe Le Duff , Short straw…).
