Airbus made a splash at the Dubai Airshow, the first of its kind to be held since the start of the pandemic.
The event even ended on November 18 with fanfare for the European aircraft manufacturer, with a total of 408 orders and purchase commitments, against only 80 for its American rival Boeing.
In three days, the match was over, consecrating the victory of Airbus, driven in particular by the success of the A321 which totaled no less than 358 orders (including a firm order for 255 aircraft from day one).

It is true that this aircraft meets the aspirations of airlines, anxious to equip themselves with mid-range models with enhanced passenger capacities (objective: to reduce the cost of the seat) and whose range of action offers maximum flexibility.
A segment of the market in which Boeing has difficulty in asserting its advantages.
As for its latest addition, the 777X, it has not convinced any buyer in Dubai where it was making its first appearance abroad.
