Electric car: Nissan invests in the battery of the future

On Monday, the leaders of the Japanese group, an ally of Renault, presented their ten-year strategic plan, called Ambition 2030. Nissan, pioneer of electric cars thanks to its Leaf, launched in 2010, intends to take advantage of its experience: it wants to capture a significant part of the growth in sales of electrified vehicles in Europe, Japan, China and the United States, its key markets.

The manufacturer aims that in 2030, 50% of its sales will be made with electrified vehicles (battery, hybrids and plug-in hybrids), against 10% in 2020.
