Oil prices fell today about two dollars, with the financial markets in general declining, after a media report raised doubts about the effectiveness of anti-Corona vaccines in the face of the new mutant, Omicron.
Reuters reported that the futures contracts for the standard Brent crude fell $ 1.82, or 2.5 percent, to $ 71.62 a barrel.
The price of West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell $1.61, or 2.3 percent, to $68.34 a barrel.
