For his part, the head of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, Muhammad Abu Al-Huda Al-Lahham, affirmed that today's meeting establishes important mechanisms and consensus to raise the volume of trade exchange, considering that the main engine for strengthening economic relations lies through commodity exchange, introducing the two countries' products and establishing mutual exhibitions.

A number of members of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors called for supporting the previously agreed steps and for there to be committees to follow up on what has been accomplished and provide the required facilities, whether by means of payment or transfer, and to give guarantees to investors from both countries.
The meeting discussed the issue of investment in the agricultural sector, increasing communication methods and revitalizing tourism, which positively reflects on reciprocal economic operations, in addition to revitalizing air cargo operations and the participation of Iranian companies in rehabilitating factories and facilities destroyed by terrorism in Syria.
