The new chairman has appointed Philippe Brochard, previously chairman of the Russian subsidiary of Auchan, as chief executive officer, replacing Jean-Denis Deweine.
The post of vice-president, until then held by the grandson of founder Alexandre Mulliez, has been abolished, the group also announced.
