While the month of December is a pivotal month for these professionals, with the end-of-year celebrations in focus, the association Les Traisseurs de France deplores cascading cancellations.

In less than a week, more than 430 receptions for 155,147 guests were canceled, resulting in a loss of turnover amounting to nearly 6.9 million euros,
" says the organization in a statement released Wednesday.

alarming prospects for the end of the year and the first quarter of 2022
", the association, which brings together 37 caterers who organize high-end independent receptions (which employ more than 1,500 employees), claims the return of "
whatever the cost
", which the government put an end to last August.

Bruno Le Maire assured event professionals of his “

” during a speech in mid-November.

" with the sectors weakened by this fifth wave, citing events, but also tourism and air transport.
