More than 150 companies and brands in Germany want to jointly advertise the corona vaccination from Tuesday - many of them with modifications of their advertising slogans.

The campaign was designed by the Berlin advertising agency Antoni.

According to their statements, the car manufacturers BMW and Mercedes-Benz, the supermarket chains Edeka and Lidl, the savings banks and Volksbanken as well as the fast-food chains Burger King and McDonald's are involved.

The headline of the campaign is the motto #Together against Corona, also used by the federal government.

The companies should use this hashtag to advertise the vaccination on their social media channels with their own slogans.

In some cases, these are modifications of well-known advertising slogans of the respective brands, which are each transformed into a call for vaccinations.

"Come inpf and find out"

According to the industry magazine “Horizont”, the Toom hardware store chain promotes “respect for those who get vaccinated”, while competitor Hornbach says: “There is always something to be vaccinated” Vaccinate!".

The pay-TV channel Sky announces that vaccination is "big sport".

The mail order company Otto admits: "Vaccinations ... I think it's good".

The Condor vacation company even raves: "We love vaccinations".

More or less successful word games in English can also be found among the examples.

These include “Together we impf” from the telecommunications group Vodafone and the request “Come inpf and find out” from the perfumery chain Douglas.

According to the announcement, the designated Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz described the campaign as “an outstanding symbol of social responsibility and initiative”.
