In addition, the order includes an increase in the duty-free quota by 5,000 tonnes for the import quota of cheese - cheese imports are expected to be 25% cheaper than in Israel, the regulated retail price is expected to fall by about 10 shekels a kilo. all this, According to the message "while maintaining local agriculture."

According to the Ministry of Finance, the program implements the OECD recommendation to the State of Israel and is another step in placing Israel alongside the developed countries in terms of how to support agriculture, and it was later signed for a professional agreement between the Ministries of Finance and Agriculture.
