Moez-Alexandre and Soraya Zouari continue their shopping in distribution.
Their family group, one of the main franchisees of Monop 'and Franprix (with 200 stores under these banners owned by Casino), went from shadow to light two years ago, when it bought 43% of the distributor of Picard frozen products, in which it now holds 49%.

The couple, who had failed in mid-2020 to take over Bio'CBon (bought by Carrefour) are preparing to diversify into non-food distribution.
It is in the process of buying, for an undisclosed amount, the Maxi Bazar discount chain from the private equity fund Naxicap Partners, its owner since 2017. As revealed on the lsa.fr site, the Autorité de la competition is reviewing the transaction, which was notified to it by the buyer on November 25.
With Maxi Bazar, the Zouari are investing in a growing sector.
The brand would achieve 200 million euros in turnover, in France and Switzerland.
