Oil prices fell in today's trading.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell 19 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $75.25 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 23 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $71.82 a barrel, after rising 3.7 percent during the previous session.
The decline in prices comes as investors wait to assess the full impact of the new strain of Corona Omicron on the global economy.
