Natural gas prices in Europe rose to nearly $1250 per 1,000 cubic meters during today's trading session, equivalent to 6 percent.
And the Russian TASS news agency reported that the January futures contracts at the TTF center in the Netherlands, which is the main reference for natural gas trade in the Northwest European region, amounted to 1244 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.
Last October, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov indicated that the reason for the rise in gas prices in Europe coincided with several factors related to the growth of consumption, climate change and the decline in gas reserves.
