The largest Israeli art exhibition - "Israeli Art 2021" - which salutes young Israeli artists as well as social art, was dedicated this year to the issue of promoting and empowering women. Bank Hapoalim, through the Center for Social Banking and the Community Workers' Fund, has selected 10 women's organizations and associations that help women from all walks of life whose proceeds from the exhibition will be donated, with over NIS 1.4 million raised so far.
In recent years, violence against women has become a real epidemic in Israeli society, and the "Israeli Art 2021" exhibition aims to help and promote women's associations and organizations in a variety of fields. Thousands of people have so far come to the Bank Hapoalim management building, which is covered on all 6 floors with 500 works donated by leading artists in Israel, including: Leah Nickel, Nir Hod, Yair Garbuz, Ziv Koren, Ido Marcus, Miriam Kabsa, Yonatan Ullman, Philip Rancher , Yigal Tumarkin, Sigalit Landau and many others.
"The Equal Association works to reduce gender gaps," said Maayan Arazi-Melinarsky, CEO of the Equal Association. "We have been working for gender equality from an early age, when we see the gaps begin.
We work with annual programs, leadership programs for girls and give them tools for self-realization and realizing their potential.
We were privileged to meet Bank Hapoalim.
We are very proud of this collaboration and very happy to be here today. "

"This is the 21st year that Poalim in the community has held this event, when this year the murder of Diana Raz shook me personally and so did the many cases of violence," said Naama Halevi-Farr, director of the Center for Social Banking at Bank Hapoalim. "We have decided not to remain indifferent and I am very proud that we have opened our gates. All proceeds will be donated to charities that help women. The bank sees this as a real mission, it is an amazing opportunity to see art and contribute."
"Bank Hapoalim has given an opportunity to many non-profit organizations that are involved from different angles in the issue of promoting girls and women," said Roni Posten-Koren, founder of the "Equal" organization. "This is an exhibition that is also artistically amazing. We feel part of a big change that is happening slowly."
"We were very excited when they approached us from Bank Hapoalim," said Lily Ben-Ami, CEO of the late Michal Sala Forum.
"The target? Zero murders a year. A revolution, no less. To make a revolution, you have to attack it from everywhere - from the air, from the land, from the sea, from cyber and art. "So it's strengthening. I call on more bodies to go the same way and mobilize. In the end it's Order 8".
