The price of gold in the local market rose by 3 thousand Syrian pounds per gram of 21 karat today, compared to the price of yesterday, with the price of an ounce globally rising to 1800 dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmen Association for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 175,000 pounds and a purchase price of 174,500 pounds, while a gram of 18 calibers reached a selling price of 150,000 pounds and a purchase of 149,500 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens who wish to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin, and that complaints can be submitted in case of violation through the following numbers: 2248005- 0991937718.
