The Feed Corporation put the Tal Balat fodder plant in Aleppo into service and start production as of today, with a production capacity of 30 tons per hour, which will contribute significantly to meeting the needs of livestock breeders in the governorates of Aleppo, Hama, Idlib, Raqqa and Al-Zour, by securing high quality feed supplies for breeders, according to the Director General The Foundation, Engineer Abdul Karim Shabat.
In a statement to the representative of SANA, the Director General of the Foundation, the design production capacity of the plant is 100,000 tons annually, at a rate of 30 tons per hour, of capsule milk for cows, indicating that the quantities produced during the trial period amounted to 4,500 tons.
He said: that the Corporation contracted to rehabilitate this plant at a cost of 1.442 billion Syrian pounds after it was destroyed by terrorist groups. A contract was also signed to rehabilitate the Kfarbhum feed factory in Hama, and a contract to construct a yellow corn dryer in Deir Hafer, Aleppo Governorate.
