The General Organization for Cemeteries produced 5,500 tons of milk and 172 tons of meat from the beginning of this year until November, according to the director of the foundation, Engineer Khaled Helal.
Hilal said in a statement to SANA that the corporation's plan for the current year is to produce 6,453 tons of milk and 209 tons of meat, noting that there are currently 2,036 head of cows in the establishment's facilities operating in Jub Ramleh, Fido, Ghouta and Homs, including 805 milk heads, 216 head of guava and 1,015 head of herd. he slept.
Regarding the quantities of milk used in the manufacture of products, Hilal explained that the quantities of milk entering into various industries such as yogurt, cheese and others reached 742 tons in a video factory, indicating that the products are marketed through direct sales outlets in factories and through Syrian trade halls in the governorates of Damascus, Lattakia and Hama.
On the next year's plan, Hilal stated that the corporation seeks to produce 7196 tons of milk and 220 tons of meat.
Hilal indicated that the Corporation's production of green fodder amounted to 8,949 tons, part of which is provided to the herd as green fodder, and the rest is manufactured to silage and hay, while its production of various grains such as wheat, oats and barley reached about 2,082 tons from cultivated within the lands of its facilities.
