Carrefour and Casino innovate in home delivery

The two distributors have signed a partnership with the Italian start-up Everli, whose employees shop instead of customers.


It is not uncommon in the United States to see freelance workers crisscrossing supermarket shelves and shopping for customers.

Sign of the success of this service, the start-up Instacart, which popularized it on the other side of the Atlantic, is now valued at 39 billion dollars (32 billion euros).

The scene may soon be familiar in France.

Carrefour has just forged a partnership with the Italian start-up Everli, which aims to import the Instacart model in Europe.

The Casino group did the same - its offer is being rolled out on the Everli site - as well as Auchan in Poland, a year ago.
