The desires for space and greenery, born of the pandemic are still there.
And the cost of credit, still inexpensive, keeps the machine going.
As a result, the year 2021 is moving towards unprecedented heights according to the Notaries of France who publish their report for the year: sales reached 1.2 million units in October (+ 14.5% compared to the same period in 2019, historic year).
"A remarkable progression",

On the flip side, this effervescence is pushing values up (+ 5%).
Due to the new behaviors of the French, it is particularly marked for houses (+ 9%) and, all housing combined, for purchases in the provinces (+ 7.5%).
“We noticed that prices were increasing faster in the provinces than in Île-de-France,”
confirms Frédéric Violeau.
