Prof. Dr. Christian Hesse
is head of the department for mathematical statistics at the University of Stuttgart and one of the most famous mathematicians in Germany.
He received his PhD from Harvard and taught at Berkeley.
In 1991, at the age of 30, he became Germany's youngest professor at the time.
