Today, gold prices rose 3 thousand pounds per gram of 21 karat in the local market, reaching 179,000 pounds.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmen Association for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a price of 179 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 178 thousand and 500 pounds, while a gram of 18 caliber reached a selling price of 153429 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 152929 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the association’s bulletin, and it distributed phone numbers for complaints (0991937718-2248005).
