We have tabled an amendment to the health management bill allowing to postpone compulsory medical examinations to allow occupational health services to free up time to offer companies to vaccinate those of their employees who so wish,
" declared the Minister of Labor.
Because there remain "
some 2 million active among the 5 million people still not vaccinated
", underlined Élisabeth Borne.
These 5 million unvaccinated French people, including 4 million adults, are a figure given by the Minister of Health Olivier Véran last week during a hearing before the law committee of the National Assembly.

To deal with the health emergency, the executive had issued a prescription in April 2020 to allow the occupational physician to postpone the medical visits scheduled from March 12 to August 31, no later than December 31, 2020 New texts were then adopted in 2021 to postpone medical visits and examinations for a maximum of one year, due to expire on April 17, 2021, then on August 2, then on September 30.
