In Nevers, a new kind of senior residence will open in March.
Located in the city center, this establishment of 114 apartments (from 35 to 60 square meters) has a restaurant, a hairdressing salon and a wellness area (gym, swimming pool) open to the neighborhood.
In addition to a concierge, available 24 hours a day, a health and vitality advisor accompanies residents on a daily basis.
10% of the apartments are reserved for students and working people (on mission or recently transferred) to ensure social diversity.
Top of the line
It is the fifth Nahoma residence developed by Orpea, one of the European leaders in the care of seniors.
Ten more are planned for 2022-2023.
The company, which had a dozen aging residences attached to its nursing homes, is betting on this new concept to form a national network positioned upscale (between 1,500 and 3,000 euros per month, excluding catering).
