The dollar fell today, but remained within its swing range recently, as investors awaited a speech by US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell at a congressional session later in the day.
Reuters reported that the dollar index fell 0.1 percent to 95.817, much less than its highest level at the end of last November.
The euro recorded 1.1346 dollars and remained within its swing range in the recent period, while the sterling pound recorded its highest level against the dollar in two months, recording 1.362 dollars.
The dollar also rose 0.1 percent against the Japanese yen, recording 115.280 yen to the dollar.
Some large US banks now expect to raise rates four times this year, starting next March.
