Leumi opens 2022 with a raising of NIS 3.2 billion
Leumi raised NIS 3.2 billion from institutional entities in a tender to expand two index-linked senior bond series for a period of 3.5 and 6 years. The series' issues were closed at yields of 1.54% and 1.04%, respectively.

Leumi opened 2022 with the raising of NIS 3.2 billion from institutional entities, following the expansion of two series of bonds on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The two series that have been expanded are index-linked senior bonds, series 179 and 182, for a period of 3.5 And 6 years respectively.
In the tender, which takes place in two phases, high demand of about NIS 3.9 billion was received in the institutional phase that took place yesterday, with the public phase extensively taking place tomorrow.

The 179-year bond series for 3.5 years closed at a yield of 1.54%, reflecting a margin of 0.69%. This series is rated AAA by S&P Maalot and Midroog. The 182-year bond series closed at a yield of 1.04%, the binoculars A margin of 0.79%.
This series is also rated AAA by S&P Maalot.
This made Leumi the first bank in the system to raise debt from the public in 2022. Last November, the bank raised NIS 2.3 billion in two new series of bonds, which also met with high demand of NIS 5 billion.
