The volume of trade between Russia and China increased in 2021 by 35.8 percent, recording a record of 146.887 billion dollars. The data released today by the General Administration of Customs of China showed an increase in the volume of Chinese exports to Russia during the reporting period by 33.8 percent on an annual basis, with a value of 67.565 billion dollars, while the volume of imports from Russia to China increased by 37.5 percent, reaching 79.322 billion dollars.
According to the data, in December 2021 the volume of trade between Russia and China amounted to 16.44 billion dollars, as Russia imported goods from China with a value of 8.136 billion dollars, while China imported goods from the Russian Federation with a value of 8.306 billion dollars. It is noteworthy that at the end of 2020, the exchange volume declined Trade between Russia and China increased by 2.9 percent and amounted to 107.76 billion dollars.
