London-Sana
Today, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries expected that global demand for oil will increase strongly this year.
Reuters quoted OPEC as saying in a monthly report that it expects global oil demand to rise by 4.15 million barrels per day this year, unchanged from its forecast last month, despite the Omicron Corona strain.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries made it clear that monetary measures are not expected to impede the primary momentum of global economic growth, but rather work to reevaluate the economies experiencing inflationary growth.
Global consumption is expected to exceed 100 million barrels per day in the third quarter, in line with last month's forecast and on an annual basis.
According to OPEC, the last time the world consumed more than 100 million barrels per day of oil was in 2019.
