Optical Center no longer wants to settle for France. After having established itself in several countries (Israel, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg), the brand is setting out to conquer the British market. Optical Center opened three stores in London late last year. Three more will be inaugurated this year. The company first plans to open ten stores in the British capital before attacking the rest of the country. The game is worth the candle. This is a huge market (4.5 billion euros in turnover), dominated by a world champion, the British Specsavers, positioned in the mid-range niche, with an offer in optics as well as in hearing. Optical Center hopes to do well with a premium offer at affordable prices. Until now, few French brands had ventured outside of France,with the exception of Afflelou (1429 stores in 19 countries).
