Today, oil prices have fallen from their highest level since 2014 and supply concerns are capping losses.

Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell 49 cents, or 0.6 percent, to $87.95 a barrel, after falling more than a dollar earlier.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures for February delivery fell six cents, or 0.1 percent, to $86.90 a barrel, after dropping by about $1 earlier.

The West Texas Intermediate crude contract for the month of February expires today, while the value of the most traded contract for March delivery reached $85.41 a barrel, down 0.5%.
