Lifting of restrictions: telework will still be recommended but no longer mandatory from February 2

From February 2, teleworking will always be recommended… but the current obligation of three days of distance learning will be null and void, Prime Minister Jean Castex announced Thursday evening.

It is up to each company to advise with the social partners.

However, there is no question of letting your guard down right away.

The health protocol put in place since January 3 is still in effect.

These measures planned for a period of three weeks will even be extended until February 1.

The Minister of Labor, Elisabeth Borne, had implied it on Wednesday before the employers' and trade union organizations meeting by videoconference, before the health defense council on Thursday.

“We are aware that the situation can be difficult for certain employees and certain companies”, she had declared, while recalling that the State continued to financially support the companies affected by the restrictions.
