Aid maintained for the sectors affected by the restrictions until they are lifted

Bruno Le Maire confirmed the maintenance until the relief of the restrictions of the devices of aid deployed for the sectors affected until February 2 and 16.

Until now, companies that lost 65% of their turnover or that suffered restrictions can claim state support for partial unemployment, at 100%.

Fixed costs are covered from a threshold of 50% of business losses.

These aid schemes were then extended on Tuesday on the announcement of the Prime Minister.

In the hotel-café-restaurant sector, caterers, events and travel agencies, establishments that lost more than 30% of activity in December and January compared to 2019 can benefit from aid for the payment of contributions up to 20% of payroll.

Those who have lost more than 65% of turnover can claim aid for the payment of wage costs up to 20%, but also an exemption from employer contributions.

Bruno Le Maire did not specify whether all of this aid is intended to stop once the restrictions are lifted.
