The Syrian Corporation for Bakeries announced the continuation of work in all governorates during the holidays.
The General Manager of the Corporation, Muayyad Al-Rifai, confirmed that all bakeries in the governorates affiliated with the Corporation continue to work during the holidays to provide bread to citizens as planned, except for its weekly holiday on Friday.
He explained in a press statement during a tour of a number of Damascus countryside bakeries that the bakeries are operating at their established production capacity, and bread is distributed to citizens using the established methods and through the electronic card, pointing out that the quality of bread is witnessing a remarkable improvement and development, especially after the development and rehabilitation of many production lines.
In a related context, the Syrian Trade Corporation announced the continuation of the work of its complexes, halls and outlets in all governorates during the holiday, including the sale of subsidized materials and positive intervention materials via the electronic card.
The Director General of the Foundation, Ziad Hazaa, said in a statement to SANA that work in the complexes, halls and outlets continues normally with the availability of a wide variety of food and consumer goods, family requirements, vegetables and fruits at reasonable and reasonable prices, in the context of seeking to provide the basic needs of citizens, noting that the Foundation continues during this period. The holiday is by borrowing vegetables, fruits and citrus directly from farmers to support them and reduce costs for them and distribute them to Syrian trade halls after sorting and packing them.
