Companies in difficulty will be able to benefit from four additional years to repay their loan guaranteed by the State (PGE).

Bruno Le Maire, the Minister of the Economy, formalized last week the signing of a market agreement with the Banque de France and the French Banking Federation (FBF) allowing companies to spread over ten years, against six years so far, their monthly payments.

And to postpone the first repayment deadlines by six months (to October 2022).

In detail, those who have borrowed less than 50,000 euros of PGE (i.e. 60% of the 700,000 companies having subscribed to a PGE) and who feel strangled to repay it will be able to apply, from February 15, to credit mediation to get their loan adjusted.

After studying the file, this entity backed by the Banque de France will decide whether or not the reimbursements can be spread over time.
