The home shopping delivery specialist Gorillas, originally from Germany, has entered into exclusive negotiations for a merger with the French Frichti, the two companies said on Monday, without specifying the financial contours of the operation.

Gorillas, founded in June 2020, has grown extremely rapidly and today boasts 12,000 employees in more than 60 cities, including Amsterdam, London, Paris, Madrid, New York, Milan and Munich.
When it last raised money, in October 2021, the company raised nearly $1 billion.
For its part Frichti, launched in 2015, claims “
more than 450,000 customers in 8 key cities
” in France and Belgium.
