Oil prices rose today, heading for gains for the sixth consecutive week.
Reuters news agency reported that Brent crude futures rose 63 cents, or 0.7 percent, to $89.97 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 49 cents, or 0.6 percent, to $87.10 a barrel, and US crude hit a seven-year high of $88.54 earlier in the session.
