Asked at the end of 2021 as part of a survey conducted by the consulting firm AlixPartners, 72% of bosses working in industrialized countries (including China) said they feared losing their jobs due to disruptions in their sector.
They were only 52% a year earlier.
“Their shareholders are demanding more growth, now that the epidemic is over.
At the same time, CEOs must manage supply chain tensions, skilled labor shortages and the necessary digital transformation,”
explains Simon Freakley, CEO of AlixPartners.
Proof of the magnitude of the challenges, 94% of bosses think that the economic model of their company must change in the next three years.
