The foreign investment index in Iran increased by about 90 percent during the past nine months compared to the same period last year.
The (IRNA) news agency stated that, according to statistical reports issued by the Iranian Ministry of Industry, the value of foreign investments during the past nine months amounted to two billion and 802 million dollars, pointing out that the value of investments during the same period last year amounted to one billion and 477 million dollars.
The investments included many industrial and commercial fields, including contributing to the establishment of new projects, buying shares of companies, or concluding commercial agreements inside Iran.
