The amount of citrus exports through customs secretariats in Nassib, Tartous Central and Al-Bukamal exceeded 14,714 tons last January, with a total value estimated at more than 10 billion and 125 million Syrian pounds, since the start of the implementation of government measures to market the citrus crop.
According to the statistics of the General Customs, the number of customs export data for citrus during the same period in the aforementioned secretariats amounted to 624, and the exported goods included all kinds of oranges, lemons, carmentina and Albomali. and 888 million pounds.
The number of citrus data organized in the Tartous Central Secretariat amounted to 225 statements, amounting to more than 5,204 tons, with a total value estimated at more than 3 billion and 191 million pounds, while the number of data organized in the Al-Bukamal Customs Secretariat amounted to 7 statements with a quantity of more than 117 tons and an estimated value of 46 million pounds.
