The Russian company Gazprom announced a decrease in gas reserves in Europe by 93.4 percent of the total volume of gas pumped in the summer.
And RIA Novosti news agency quoted the company as saying today: Based on European data, the quantities of gas stored in ground European facilities have reached less than 7 percent of the total volume of gas pumped to the facilities in the summer.
The data indicated that the gas reserves in the ground gas facilities in Ukraine had decreased by the middle of this month to the level of 10.7 billion cubic meters.
European markets are witnessing sharp fluctuations in gas prices due to the decline in stocks and the high demand for it.
