With the participation of more than a hundred Syrian and Arab companies, the activities of the International Specialized Export Exhibition for Leather Industries and Production Supplies will start tomorrow, Silla 13, Spring Summer 2022, on the exhibition grounds on Airport Road, organized by the Arab Federation of Leather Industries in cooperation with the Federations of the Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
Secretary-General of the Arab Federation of Leather Industries, Muhammad Kazara, told SANA delegate that this exhibition, which is held twice a year, constitutes an important opportunity for shoe and leather manufacturers in Syria to market their products to foreign and domestic markets.
Kazara revealed that the exhibition management invited about 300 businessmen from a number of Arab countries, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Sudan, Libya, and from the Gulf countries, especially Iraq, from which about 80 businessmen were invited, as it is the market closest to Syria and the most capable of attracting Syrian products that are characterized by quality, modern designs and competitiveness. High, especially after the recent facilities regarding the transport of goods.
For his part, Head of the Shoes and Leather Committee at the Chamber of Industry in Damascus and its countryside, Muhammad al-Boushi, pointed out that Syrian leather products are in line with consumer tastes and the latest international fashion trends, and the possibility of benefiting from Syrian businessmen residing abroad in terms of marketing and exporting Syrian products to those countries or abroad.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition, which continues until next Sunday, opens its doors to visitors between one o'clock in the afternoon and nine in the evening, and transportation is available for visitors from in front of the Sham Hotel at four, five and six in the evening back and eight, eight thirty and nine back to Damascus.
