Saint-Gobain published record 2021 results on Thursday which confirm the building materials group's power to increase its prices in line with the inflation suffered on its purchases of raw materials.

Its turnover reached 44 billion euros (+16% over one year, its previous record).

Its current net income reached 2.8 billion, up 98% over one year and 50% over two years.

"We have beaten the group's historical financial records

," welcomes the general manager, Benoît Bazin.

Saint-Gobain owes these results to its transformation strategy launched in 2018, with in particular the optimization of its business portfolio: disposal of assets generating 2 billion euros in revenue, acquisition of new activities weighing so much.
