The Partner Group today reports to the public on the business results of 2021 - and these are happy for it: the group's net profit last year was NIS 115 million.

The number of cellular subscribers stands at about 3.2 million as of the end of the year after an increase of 187,000 subscribers in 2021. The position of Partner's fiber optic subscribers also stands at 225,000 as of today;

An increase of 73,000 in 2021.



The report also shows that the number of households connected to Partner's fiber optic infrastructure is currently 740,000;

An increase of 235,000 in 2021.



By the end of the year, the company intends to reach about one million households connected to fiber and cover the 5th generation of over 40% of the population.



Some of the company's profits are due to a one-time income of NIS 43 million, as a result of the closure of Partner's tax assessments for the years 2016-2019.

Main results of 2021

Net profit amounted to NIS 115 million, an increase of NIS 98 million compared to NIS 17 million in 2020.


Excluding one-time income, net profit amounted to NIS 72 million, an increase of NIS 55 million (approximately 320%) compared to the year 2020.



In 2021, a one-time tax income of NIS 43 million was recorded, which was recognized after the closing of tax assessments for the years 2016-2019.



Revenues amounted to NIS 3,363 million, an increase of 5% compared to NIS 3,189 million in 2020.



Revenues from services amounted to NIS 2,635 million, an increase of 5% from NIS 2,508 million in 2020, thanks to an increase in revenues from services in both the fixed line segment (an increase of 7%) and in the cellular sector (increase of 2%).


Revenue from equipment sales amounted to NIS 728 million, an increase of 7% compared to NIS 681 million in 2020.



Adjusted EBITDA amounted to NIS 922 million, an increase of 12% compared to NIS 822 million in 2020.


The net debt amounted to NIS 744 million, an increase of NIS 87 million compared to NIS 657 million at the end of 2020.



The average income for mobile subscribers (ARPU) remains stable throughout 2021 and amounted to NIS 48, an erosion of 6% from NIS 51 in 2020.



The annual churn rate of cellular subscribers in 2021 decreased to 28%, compared to 30% in 2020.



The company's cellular subscription base amounted to about 3.2 million subscribers, an increase of 187,000 Subscriptions per year and 4,000 subscribers during the fourth quarter of 2021. The company's mobile market share is estimated at 28%.



The fiber optic subscriber base amounted to 212,000 subscribers, an increase of 73,000 subscribers per year and of 20,000 subscribers during the fourth quarter of 2021. As of the date of publication of the reports, Partner has 225,000 fiber optic subscribers.



Homes in buildings connected to the fiber-optic infrastructure (Homes Connected) amounted to 700,000, an increase of 235,000 per year and 76,000 during the fourth quarter of 2021.

Infrastructure-based Internet amounted to 374,000 subscribers, an increase of 45,000 subscribers per year and 9,000 subscribers during the fourth quarter of 2021.



The TV subscriber base amounted to 226,000 subscribers, a decrease of 6,000 subscribers per year and unchanged from the third quarter of 2021. Excluding the deletion of approx. 21,000 TV subscribers made in the second quarter of 2021, TV subscriber base increased by 15,000 subscribers in 2021.

Partner is strengthening its position as a leading infrastructure player and as such it has been decided to accelerate the rate of fiber optic deployment in order to reach about one million connected households by the end of the year, including in the periphery.

In cellular, Partner intends to continue the accelerated construction of 5th generation sites in order to reach coverage of over 40% of the population by the end of the year.

Also on TV, Partner is preparing for the expected entry of additional international streaming services, with its super-aggregator model unique to it.
