US President Joe Biden will announce new punitive measures against Russia, according to the White House.
The White House on Tuesday distributed an updated daily program of the President, in which an appearance by Biden was added.
At the meeting, it was said that Biden would announce measures “to continue to hold Russia accountable for its unprovoked and unjustified war against Ukraine”.
US media reported that Biden is expected to announce an import ban on Russian oil.
