The European Union will provide IT equipment to Ukraine

The European Union will provide computer equipment to Ukraine, in response to a request from the latter's government, French Digital Secretary Cédric O said on Wednesday on the sidelines of a meeting of European ministers responsible for telecoms in Magny-Cours, in Burgundy.

France chairs Tuesday and Wednesday in Paris, Nevers and Magny-Cours an informal meeting of ministers of the European Union in charge of telecoms, largely devoted to the Russian offensive in Ukraine.

The ministers notably asked the major internet and social media platforms on Tuesday to do more against disinformation.
