Today, the price of a gram of gold in the local market, 21 karat, decreased by four thousand pounds, compared to the price of Monday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsman Association for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 206 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 205,500 pounds, while a gram of 18 karat selling price amounted to 176,571 pounds and a purchase price of 176071 pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin and to file a complaint in the event of a violation on the numbers 2248005 and 0991937718.
The 21-carat gold gram has been recorded since March 17, with a selling price of 210 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 209,500 pounds.
